Bookings Enquiry Form

If you would like to enquire about booking any of our artists, please contact us by email, phone or fax, or by filling out our online booking enquiry form. We will do our best to get back to you with a quote and/or news on availability of the artist(s) within 24 working hours. When enquiring, please supply us with as much information as possible about your event. We can probably assist you better if we know:

• What type of event you are planning
• Event theme
• Size and type of audience
• Will music be light background, dance, or a featured show? Will MC be provided with a script? Will comedian be expected to present throughout the evening, or only perform a stand-up comedy set? ETC...
• Are you using an AV company to provide sound (and stage & lighting,etc.), or would you prefer musicians to supply the equipment
• Timing - you will need to decide on an exact time for the booking to start and finish, and will be charged accordingly. An exact booking time is agreed on contractually, and if performers are requested to perform outside of booking time, overtime fees are charged.

When budgeting for live entertainment, please keep in mind the following points:

• Various performers use different fee structures. Some performers (including some Classical, Jazz and ethnic musicians, magicians, novelty performers, etc) charge on an hourly basis, while others (including most function bands, MCs, DJs, etc) charge "per evening" which usually consists of a 4 hour booking (musicians perform 4 sets of 45 minutes, with 15 minute breaks in between). Featured acts like show bands, speakers, celebrity or headliner acts and comedians would typically charge for a single “performance set”, or two sets at most. Standard performance times and conditions will be clearly indicated on the quotation.
• Overtime fees are charged per half hour or hour (depending on the Artist), if the client requests the performers to perform after the conclusion of the agreed booking time.
• The client is expected to provide performers with beverages in all cases, and meals in the case of bookings of 3 hours or longer (including sound check / rehearsal times), or where more than 60 minutes' travel time is involved.

Fees generally exclude:

• Travel expenses for venues not within a 60km radius of the Cape Town , Johannesburg or Durban CBDs. For venues more than 2 hours outside the Centre, a different fee structure generally applies. In certain cases (far out venues and/or bookings that conclude late at night), the client will also be responsible for the cost of accommodation for the performers.
• Commission / additional incentive fees for event organisers.
• Variations from standard performance and contractual terms requested by client. Examples include requests for the performance / creation of special items (which are not part of artist’s current repertoire), early arrival, additional rehearsals or other non-standard arrangements requested by client.
• Stage, lighting and sound equipment and technical staff, if required
