Velvet Sista

Velvet Sista is a vibrant and talented all-female vocal trio consisting of Loveline Madumo, Yollandi Nortjie and Zanele Gumede.

All three ladies have been classically trained at different music schools and conservatories, and have flourishing solo careers performing in various Operas and other productions, and all three also have international performing experience.  The ladies decided to join forces in order to answer  demand for a top-class and entertaining female vocal group, and decided to form this ensemble which is unique in South Africa.

Loveline and Zanele appeared as soloists in the Nation Building Mass Choir Festival in 2001- 2002 and 2003- 2004 respectively. All three , a trend they intend continuing as a group.

Velvet Sista performs at corporate events, concerts, etc., and their repertoire include African, Classical Crossover, Opera and light music.
