South African Style Icon and Owner of Diamond Face Couture 'DFC' Uyanda Mbuli is a household name in African fashion. Her flagship boutique store at The Zone Shopping centre in Rosebank, Johannesburg, is a favourite shopping destination for SA's fashionistas.
This influential South African woman, who as a teenager won a number of beauty titles, became the first black women to be crowned Mrs Globe South Africa in 2005. Amongst the many style accolades Uyanda has received include being crowned the gSports Style Star Winner in 2009, and being selected as one of the 2010 COSMOPOLITAN Magazine’s Fun and Fearless Females. Uyanda manages a social diary in PEOPLE Magazine called “The Fabulous Circle” – where readers can catch up with her social life.
