Shimmer

Popular girl band Shimmer is made up of three "rocking" sisters from Centurion.  Shimmer has been performing English covers since 2001 and in 2009 the sisters entered the Afrikaans market with the release of their first Afrikaans upbeat album. 

The album is fresh, unique sounding, with a touch of soul and charisma in the lyrics.  9 of the 14 tracks are Shimmer originals.  Although generally Country Pop, the album includes influences from a range of genres, while the mood moves from soft moments to pulsating and explosive rhythms of pop, all immaculately produced.

Their passion for music is evident when Shimmer performs; their vocally involved performance is accompanied by stylish choreographed dance moves, which contributes to an entertainment experience that is pleasing to all the senses.
