Romy Titus

Romy Titus is a sought after MC, having hosted numerous events across the country in her 10 years in the media for various companies such as Coca-Cola, Sunday Times, Sappi and Italtile, to name a few.

Well-known as the anchor of SABC 3's "World Today" and "News @ 7", Romy also presents and produces content for SABC2’s Weekend Live.  Her voice can be heard on Radio 2000 as she commentates from location for various sports events (including the Comrades Marathon, the Cape Argus cycle race and A1 Grand Prix), as well as on "Beyond The Game", a drive time sports show on Radio 2000.  Romy is also a voice-over artist, having done adverts for SA’s financial service providers and various other companies.

She started her television career as an ETV journalist, anchoring various programs from prime time news to a morning news and current affairs programs, and crossing over to the lighter side by hosting and producing an entertainment show.  Romy has also hosted a corporate in house-TV show for one of the leading banks in South Africa and Africa, having travelled to many African destinations often beaming live from these locations into banks all over Africa.

A proud Philanthropist, Romy heads up her own foundation ‘Babies Behind Bars’, which aims at looking after children (aged between 0-5 years) who live with their incarcerated mothers in 8 female Correctional facilities in the country.
