Pepsi Pokane

Between managing the demands associated with being a South African television presenter, actor, producer and businessman, Pepsi Pokane also lends his talents as MC to various beauty pageants, corporate shows and music concerts.  Pepsi, who has also been the host and executive producer of SABC 2’s Adult Contemporary music show Afro Café since 2005, is an experienced Director and Scriptwriter, producing inserts and contributing to the creative direction of shows like The Toasty Show, CineMagic, Mamepe, Standard Bank Joy of Jazz, and SABC 1 Drama, Gazlam.

Upon the completion of his degree in International Business, Pepsi Pokane broke the mould to pursue a career in television presenting. Voted as Cosmopolitan’s Sexiest South African Man in 2006, as well as one of five “Seventeen Magazine Hotties" for 2006, he secured a brand endorsement deal with the award-winning supplement company Cellfood.

Well-respected in the South African media and entertainment industry today, Pepsi has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with as both a television personality and a media owner.
