Marc de Kock

Top saxophonist Marc de Kock is in constant demand as soloist, as well as performing with top local and international artists across South Africa and beyond.

Marc, a Jazz performance Honours graduate of the UCT College of Music, has featured in theatre productions such as: Cats, Grease and numerous Barnyard Theatre shows which have also taken him around the world to places like Thailand, Mauritius and Europe. 

Other projects and career highlights include: 

• Performing with “Israel” and “New Breed” (number one selling gospel group in America), and recording on their latest DVD
• Marc is currently a member of the “James Stewart” band, one of Sony BMG’s recording artists. 
• Marc also performs with “James Frank and the Sticky Triggers.”  
• Marc performs regularly with the “Amanda Tiffin Band” and was featured on her latest album.
• Performing at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival with Gavin Minter and the Mother City Groove, as well as with Leslie Klein Smith.
• Touring New York with the National Youth Jazz Band
