Late Final

Late Final is one of Cape Town's premier party bands. Having performed at countless high profile events ranging from the Nedbank Golf Challenge at Sun City to The Durban July, The Argus/Pick 'n Pay Cycle Tour and The Jacques Kallis Foundation, to a host of private and corporate events as far away as Zimbabwe, the band is regarded as one of Cape Town's most enduring and exciting live acts.

Late Final celebrated its 25th anniversary during 2005 and no other Cape Town band can boast a longer and more interesting history. The band was created by members of Mcully's Workshop namely Dudley Jager and Richard Black along with lead guitarist Jerry Barnard. After 25 years of uninterrupted performances and numerous lineup changes, Late Final is today as relevant an entertaining act as any other top performing band in South Africa.

Late Final does not engage in ambient dinner music, they are known to just party! The group has molded and perfected its extensive repertoire over many years, and draw from a vast collective background of musical influences and styles to present a classic selection of songs. By blending the distinctive personalities of its band members with a great repertoire, off the cuff humour and glitzy outfits, Late Final guarantees an exciting and entertaining performance which will be long remembered.

Guests never remain seated for very long before rushing to the dance floor to boogie. Performing anything from the swamp boogie of ZZ Top - fake beards and all, to just rocking out to Van Halen or Bon Jovi, the band's formidable repertoire includes classic Rock 'n Roll, hits from the 1960's to the 1990's and the latest club and dance hits.

Combining a high power stereo Community sound system and killer songs, Late Final can transform any function into a major party event. The band is equipped to handle indoor or outdoor events with attendance figures of anywhere between 100 and 10 000.
