John Fresk

Grammy nominated John Fresk brings to his professional sphere a lifetime of musical experience as a pianist, producer, arranger, and composer. Originally from the USA, John complements his Classically training with popular, jazz and rock experience and sensibilities. His career spans twenty-five years of professional performance in all aspects: recording, concerts, receptions, weddings and other special events.

This Yamaha artist was nominated in the preliminary round of the Grammies for his work as a co-writer on the Northwest Dream Team's Heavenly Brother album. He's worked successfully with many corporate clients, including Nike, Intel, Boeing, Tektronix, Hewlett Packard, Kaiser Permanente, Mentor Graphics, Freightliner, Qualcomm, The Portland Art Museum and many others.

• Performed at the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival in 1989 and 1993
• Selected as a performer in "A Taste of Jazz," a workshop and benefit for The Mt. Hood Jazz Festival Scholarship Fund

• Toured the Northwest with Coloratura Soprano Kelly Carroll as accompanist (primarily light opera and art songs)
