Jane Theron

Jane Theron (BA Music, LRSM)  performs elegant harp music for all celebrations, with a beautiful, timeless repertoire.

She graduated from the College of Music, UCT, and took up the position as Principal Harpist in PACT Orchestra in 1969. She has played with most orchestras in Cape Town and beyond, and have been involved in numerous diverse ensembles and concerts.  She currently takes an active role in the musical life of Cape Town as an orchestral, chamber, solo and choral harpist, and she is co-founder and Chairman of The Cape Harp Society.  She teaches at the Conservatoire, University of Stellenbosch, and at the Hugo Lambrecht Music Centre.
