Havana Gas is one of Johannesburg's busiest function bands, with countless live performances to their credit. With a seemingly endless playlist including anything from Solid Cold Classics to the Rap Pack, and Sokkie to Pop Rock, they never fail to please audiences of all ages!

The core of Havana Gas is Storme and Doug Campbell - ultra-experienced entertainers who have been firm favourites at top venues in Dubai, Singapore and South Africa for over twenty years! The husband and wife team takes the stress out of organising live entertainment, and has become the first call for many an event coordinator and private party planner in SA and beyond!

Members

The core of Havana Gas is the Duo comprising Storme and Doug:

Storme Campbell (bass/vocals/sax)
studied bass at the Pretoria Tech. Her self-titled CD showcases her distinctive, vibrant and versatile voice.

Doug Campbell (guitar/vocals)
signed with Virgin Records in the UK, where Sting produced three of his songs. He co-wrote the music for the hit movie "Heel Against The Head" and many TV themes.

If a bigger band strikes your fancy, Havana Gas can add from one to three additional musicians – you choose:

Shereen Smith (keyboards/vocal/sax)
is a music graduate of UCT. She has played with Judith Sephuma and in shows such as "The Fab Four Extravaganza".

Colin Delight (vocals/sax)
provided lead vocals for the Rockets. He has performed in Dubai and Abu Dhabi with great success.

David Klassen (vocals/drums/percussion)
performs with Danny K and many other top-flight bands, and plays with the "Noot Vir Noot" band on SABC TV.

Rob Watson (drums)
has worked with Johnny Clegg and Gloria Bosman. He toured Japan with pianist and composer Keiko Matsui. He is the regular drummer for Skouspel.

Lee-Roy Sauls (drums/percussion/vocals)
performs with Hugh Masekela and Zamajobe.
