Graham Boyle

Popular Durban based singer and comedian Graham Boyle has an outstanding voice and is sure to keep the crowds entertained with his hilarious comedy. Graham performs as a one man band with a guitar, and has performed in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Tanzania, USA, Mauritius, Singapore, Malaysia and Spain.

Graham was famous in his younger years as the lead vocalist for the band “The Gentle People”, who had a number one hit in SA, Spain and around the world with the song “Rain, Rain, Rain”.  Other hits of the seventies included “It’s Summertime Again”, “Jump, Shout Do What You Want” and “Chimbombay”. He also performed lead vocals for GMSA, the Sounds Wild series and Dan Hill.

Some other career highlights include touring South Africa with Rolf Harris, performing as a compare at the Kings Trust concert in Swaziland with Joan Armatrading and Jonathan Butler, performing comedy with the ever popular Spider Murch and Garry Briden, appearing on the national TV program, “Comedy Showcase”, and releasing the album “Currie in a Cup” for the Natal rugby team.

Graham’s act consists of hits mostly from the sixties and seventies. You’ll be entertained with all the golden oldies with songs like, Bye Bye Love, Sugar Sugar, and Hard Day’s Night, as well as breathtaking renditions of The House of the Rising Sun, Unchained Melody, Daniel and Hey Jude. Other popular songs performed by Graham include Get Back, Country Roads, Have You Ever Seen The Rain, To Love Somebody, Cotton fields, Delilah, Tambourine man, and so many more!
