Biography

Hooked on South Africa as soon as he set foot on its shores, Darren Rose left his native Scotland in 2004 and decided to make Cape Town his home.

Having developed his love of music and passion for DJing in Scotland, Darren’s roots lie in the UK club scene, but he now concentrates on corporate events, weddings, fashion shows and private parties, utilising the full range of his diverse musical taste.

Darren prides himself on his ability to interpret a client’s vision and create the appropriate atmosphere for any particular occasion. He recognises the importance of playing for the crowd and above all the fact that the DJ is there to entertain.

I am not normally one that thanks people for which I have paid to perform a service, but in your case I make an exception. You hit the nail on the head at our wedding. Your music selection was perfect and personally I have never seen so many people dancing at a wedding and you were competing with the photobooth.
