D-Seven

D-seven is an all-male a’capella vocal group whose bold, exciting, unique performance has wowed thousands of fans across hundreds of stages.  Performing with top national & international artists, D-seven has established itself as a premier entertainment act in South Africa.

The handsome seven-piece, containing highly experienced members from 3 different contients, has performed with some of the top names in South Africa, including the likes of Goldfish, Freshlyground, Prime Circle and Vusi Mahlasela, to name a few. More recently they opened for the Grammy Award Winning Imogen Heap on her worldwide tour.

Inspired by a range of styles, as well as the cosmopolitan influence that prevails within this multinational group,  D-seven  is a diverse, highly entertaining and accessible act.  The members are perfectionists to the core - from arranging interpretations of well-known tracks, to writing originals, they strive for quality and professionalism in every way, while constantly challenging people’s expectations of a’capella.

PERFORMANCE

D-seven performs a selection of covers and original tracks from their most recent Live Show. Within their set, the group warms the crowd up in a sophisticated and stylish manner, whilst taking the audience on a vocal journey that pays tribute to the likes of local icons such as Ladysmith Black Mambazo with “Homeless” and Bright Blue with “Weeping”, through to Ray Charles “I Got a Woman”, Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida” and Imogen Heap’s “Hide 'n Seek”, and many more.
