Brumilda van Rensburg

Multi-award winning actress Brümilda van Rensburg is one of South Africa's most respected stage and screen veterans, best known for her role as Louwna in Egoli Place of Gold.   She has appeared in more than 70 different theatre, film and television productions including TV series' such as Vyfster, Koöperasiestories, Binnekring, Ballade Vir 'n Enkeling and Agter Elke Man; and theatre productions such as Poppie Nongena, Faust, Siener innie Suburbs and Hamlet.

She has received numerous acting awards, including a Fleur du Cap, Vita, Loerie, and Artes Awards. The public has also awarded Brümilda  the Most Popular Actress in South Africa, and she has been the recipient of the prestigious Rapport/City Press Prestige Award  as one of South Africa's top performers.  Brümilda also received the You / Huisgenoot / Drum Magazine's The Most Stylish Woman Award, and was nominated for People Magazine's Crystal Awards as Best Actress in a TV Soap 2007.

Brümilda is a Cum Laude Drama (Hons) graduate from the University of Pretoria (Tswane), where she twice received the coveted Ludwig Binge Award  for her achievements in the dramatic arts.  This multifaceted performer, who has graced the covers of many glossy magazines, also has her own Drama Academy and Acting Agency.
