NEW ARTIST APPLICATION: STAGE 1

Overview

Thank you for your interest in joining the ever-growing Five Seasons Entertainment Artist roster.

Please note that our representation is limited to artists falling within the main styles contained on our roster (which you can peruse using the navigation on the top left of the page). We mainly represent experienced performers who are generally permanently based in South Africa.

We generally do not represent start-up acts or artists with limited performance experience, session musicians, voice-over artists or actors (apart from those who are also experienced MCs or celebs), and while our roster contains an extensive range of musical styles and genres, we generally limit our representation in certain style genres to superstar acts; these include Hip Hop, Reggae, Afrikaans, House, Kwaito, Rap and Rock.

How to apply to join our roster

We use a two-phased process to assess new applications:

• Stage 1:Pre-screening Questionnaire - to start with, we ask that you complete a short pre-screening questionnaire in order for us to decide whether we will be able to include you in our roster. Please include 1 or 2 good quality photographs, as well as a sound / view clip or web link(s) where we can hear or see your performances. Once you have sent in your pre-screening form, we will let you within 2-4 weeks if you are invited to the next stage. Should you not hear from us within 4-8 weeks, please assume that you will not be invited to the next stage.
• Stage 2:Full Application - if you pass the first stage of our process (detailed above), we will invite you to send in a full application form, containing detailed information about your act, prices, technical information etc. If you are not invited to this stage within 4-8 weeks of submitting your Pre-screening Questionnaire, please assume that you have not been successful on this occasion.
